Why would I use a 5.9mm kerf instead of the standard 1/4"?

The 5.9mm kerf is sized for plywood panels, which are thinner than solid-wood panels. It produces a groove that grips plywood snugly so your panel doors fit tight and rattle-free, where a standard 1/4" groove would leave the panel loose.

What is the bore size of this slot cutter?

The cutter has a 5/16" inside diameter (bore), which matches the arbor on the 91-521 rail & stile bit it replaces the cutter on.

How do I install the 23-PLY cutter?
