Frequently Asked Questions

What sprayers does the HomeRight Rapid Clean work with?

It is designed to clean the HomeRight Finish Max and Super Finish Max paint sprayers. Browse compatible spray finishing systems to find your model.

What comes in the box?

The kit includes a Finish Max suction tube, a hose, 2 clamps, and a faucet attachment. Paint sprayers are sold separately.

How does the Rapid Clean actually clean the sprayer?

It connects the sprayer to a water source and uses water pressure to flush leftover or dried paint out of the pickup tube and cylinder housing, leaving the unit clean and ready for the next use.

Do I need a special water source to use it?

No. The faucet attachment screws onto a standard utility sink faucet or a garden hose, so you can flush the sprayer at a sink or outdoors.

How often should I use the Rapid Clean?

Clean your sprayer after each use. Regular cleaning prevents dried paint from clogging the unit and keeps your power tools performing reliably.

Can I leave the sprayer plugged in while cleaning?

No. Never plug the sprayer into a power outlet while using the Rapid Clean. Water is involved in the flushing process, so the tool must stay unplugged.

Is the Rapid Clean difficult to set up?

Not at all. It is a four-step process: attach the clear tube and secure it with the clamp, screw on the faucet attachment, reinsert the pickup tube, then turn on the water and pull the trigger.

Will cleaning my sprayer really extend its life?

Yes. Flushing out leftover paint after each project keeps internal passages clear, which helps your Finish Max or Super Finish Max deliver consistent, reliable performance for years.

Who makes the Rapid Clean?

It is made by HomeRight, the same company that produces the Finish Max and Super Finish Max sprayers it is designed to clean.

What else do I need for spray finishing?
