Zero Clearance Insert (Z.C.I.) Plate for DeWalt 12" DW709

All of the benefits of zero-clearance inserts that you have come to love in your table saw are now available on your miter saw. This CNC-machined throat plate replaces the plastic throat plate on your miter saw and features replaceable inserts that can be easily swapped out whenever you change blades.

A zero-clearance insert helps support the wood fibers as the blade exits the workpiece. The result is a smooth cut without tearout or chipping. An additional benefit is that small cutoffs won't get trapped in the insert opening. Our inserts are also easily replaceable, so if you have multiple saw blades for your miter saw each of them will benefit from a zero-clearance throat opening.
