Thes 8" Bench top Grinder from Rikon powerful motors that can handle any job you need for your workshop. Cast iron bases makes for a solid feel on the benchtop while the rubber feet reduce vibration. Two quality Aluminum Oxide wheels (60 and 120 grit) spin at a slow speed of 1,750 RPM, ideal for sharpening chisels and turning tools to a mirror finish. The wheels are safely ensconced in cast iron spark arrestors, while your eyes and face are protected by adjustable eye shields. The tool rests are also highly adjustable, allowing you to position your tool for a variable of cutting angles. This grinder sharpens more than just hand tools though, the left tool rest features a v-groove guide for sharpening drill bits too. A safety on/off switch, 6 ft. power cord and a wheel dresser are included as well.
