Quick Release Toggle Clamps With Adjustable Rubber Tip

Our toggle clamps are ideal for creating your own hold-downs, jigs & fixtures. You can actuate their strong cam-action locking system with one hand and the system makes sure to apply the pressure precisely where you need it. Made from high-grade steel and featuring a fully adjustable rubber padded tip, they will not mar your work surface. 100-526QS is the most common toggle clamp we sell and now features our new Quick Set System. The QSS offers fast and convenient tool-less Pressure Pad adjustments, no more messing around with inconvenient adjustment nuts.

Both bodies measure 7" long and 3" tall when fully engaged, and 4" long by 4-1/2" tall when completely opened. And they can develop 225 pounds of maximum clamping force,

The clamping pad sizes range from 1/2" diameter for the 100-526QS, and 1-1/2" for the 100-528. The clamp body exerts the same force between the two clamps, and both have a 2-3/4" capacity. The difference is in work holding. The choice is yours for how is best to clamp your work in your situation.

Tip Features:

  • 100-526QS - fixed vertical clamping
  • 100-528 - swiveling head on a ball joint to accommodate irregular shapes and to provide more clamping surface area.

What is the Quick Set System and how does it help?

The Quick Set System (QSS) provides fast, tool-less pressure-pad adjustments. Instead of loosening and tightening adjustment nuts, you set your hold-down pressure by hand, which speeds up jig setup considerably.

What is the clamping capacity of this toggle clamp?

This clamp has a 2-3/4" capacity, so it can hold down workpieces and fixtures up to that thickness.

Will the clamp mar or dent my workpiece?

No. It features a fully adjustable rubber-padded tip that protects the work surface, so it will not mar your workpiece while applying firm pressure.

What size is the clamping pad?

The 100-526QS uses a 1/2" diameter clamping pad with fixed vertical clamping, ideal for flat, repeatable hold-down work.

What are the dimensions of the clamp body?

The body measures 7" long and 3" tall when fully engaged, and 4" long by 4-1/2" tall when completely opened.

Can I use this clamp to build my own jigs and fixtures?

Yes, that's exactly what it's made for. Toggle clamps are ideal for creating custom hold-downs, jigs, and fixtures. Pair them with our clamping tools for a complete work-holding setup.

What is the clamp made of?

It's made from high-grade steel for strength and durability, with a fully adjustable rubber-padded tip on the pressure pad.

How is the fixed-tip 100-526QS different from the swiveling 100-528?

The 100-526QS has a fixed vertical clamping tip with a 1/2" pad, while the 100-528 uses a swiveling ball-joint head with a 1-1/2" pad for irregular shapes. Both share the same clamping force and 2-3/4" capacity; the difference is in how they hold the work.

Can I operate this clamp with one hand?

Yes. The strong cam-action locking system actuates with one hand, applying pressure precisely where you need it. For larger assemblies, see our bar clamps.
