This may look like one of our Vertical Raised Panel Router Bits, but you can get lots of work out of this Three-in-One router bit without ever making a door panel. Use it to cut chamfers that are as much as 1-5/8" tall or to decorate drawer fronts and beveled molding. And of course, you can use it to make a perfect raised panel. The bit includes 3 bearings (1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" diameter). By switching bearings you can produce a variety of different insets or chamfer profiles.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many bearings come with the Three-in-One bit?

It includes three bearings in 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" diameters. Swapping bearings produces different inset and chamfer profiles.

What shank size does this bit have?

It has a 1/2" shank for stable cutting of larger profiles. Browse more edge-forming router bits.

What can this bit do besides raise panels?

You can cut chamfers up to 1-5/8" tall, decorate drawer fronts, and mill beveled molding, in addition to making a perfect raised panel.

How do the different bearings change the cut?

A larger bearing exposes less of the cutter and a smaller bearing exposes more, so switching bearings changes the depth and profile of the cut.

What is the tallest chamfer this bit can cut?

It can cut chamfers as tall as 1-5/8", matching its full cutter height.

What is the cutter diameter?

The cutter is 1-1/4" in diameter with a 1-5/8" cutter height on a 1/2" shank.

Should I use this bit in a router table?

Yes. Because it is a large-profile bit, a router table is recommended for safe, controlled cuts on raised panels and tall chamfers.

Can it make raised panels?

Yes. With the appropriate bearing it produces a perfect raised panel, while the other bearings open up chamfer and molding profiles.

Is this a vertical or horizontal panel bit?

It resembles a vertical raised panel bit in shape, but it doubles as a versatile chamfer and molding cutter beyond panel work.
