Threaded splices make it easy to connect hoses without using hose clamps.

115-371 - A 4" hose threads onto one end of this quick-disconnect, tapered fitting without the need for hose clamps. This makes it easy to connect a hose to a different machine with a 4" port.

NOTE: The threads on this fitting are left-handed to match the winding of most dust collection hoses.

115-374 - This 4" Thread Splice adapts a 4" hose to a 4" quick-disconnect, tapered fitting.

NOTE: The hose connection on this fitting uses right-hand threads. Please check the winding direction of your dust collection hose before ordering.

115-376 - This fitting has threads on one end to secure a 4" hose without clamps. Opposite end is a 4" O.D. straight fitting.

NOTE: The threads on this fitting are left-handed to match the winding of most dust collection hoses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need hose clamps with this threaded splice?

No. The threaded splice is designed so a 4" hose threads directly onto the fitting without hose clamps, making connections fast and tool-free. See more dust collection fittings.

What size hose does this fitting work with?

This splice is made for 4" dust collection hose. Pair it with compatible dust collection hoses for a secure fit.

What is the difference between the 115-371, 115-374, and 115-376?

The 115-371 threads a 4" hose onto a quick-disconnect tapered fitting (left-hand thread). The 115-374 adapts a 4" hose to a 4" quick-disconnect tapered fitting (right-hand thread). The 115-376 threads a 4" hose on one end and has a 4" O.D. straight fitting on the other (left-hand thread).

Why are the threads on some of these fittings left-handed?

The threads are left-handed to match the winding of most dust collection hoses, so the fitting grips the hose's spiral securely. The 115-374 uses right-hand threads, so check your hose winding before ordering.

How do I know which thread direction I need?

Look at the winding direction of your dust collection hose and match it to the fitting. Most hoses pair with the left-hand thread versions (115-371 and 115-376), while right-hand wound hoses use the 115-374.

What is a quick-disconnect splice used for?

It lets you quickly connect a hose to a different machine with a 4" port, so you can move dust collection between tools without rebuilding connections each time.

Which splice should I use to connect to a straight 4" fitting?

Use the 115-376, which threads a 4" hose on one end and provides a 4" O.D. straight fitting on the opposite end. Explore the rest of our dust collection components.

Can I move this fitting between machines?

Yes. The tapered, quick-disconnect design is intended to make it easy to connect a hose to a different machine with a 4" port whenever you need to.

Will the threaded splice damage my hose?

No. The fitting is designed to thread onto the hose's existing spiral winding, securing it without clamps and without cutting or crushing the hose.

Is this fitting part of a larger dust collection system?

Yes. It works alongside our other hoses and accessories and dust collection fittings to build a complete, flexible shop setup.
