The result is a professional, personalized brand at a shorter lead time than a fully custom design.
Stock-image irons are available in both flame-heated and electric versions. The flame-heated model is heated with a propane torch or open flame and is portable and simple to use anywhere in the shop. The electric model comes with an STS-100 heating element and supports interchangeable branding heads, making it practical for production shops that apply marks consistently across large batches of finished pieces.
Materials, Applications & Lead Time
All branding plates are made from copper for reliable heat retention and transfer. Stock-image irons brand cleanly on smooth, flat wood—ideal for serving trays, cutting boards, turned bowls, and gift items. They also perform well on leather, wax, and soap. Not recommended for rough wood, food surfaces, PVC, or rubber. Delivery time is approximately 2–3 weeks.
